HEALTH IN PAKISTAN

In developing countries, 'health is wealth' is a known proverb everyone singer sings in national songs. Health problem is not valued and considered. It is always great attitude to appreciate good maxims. But it becomes hard sometimes to digest, draw and derive real hidden meanings. It is becoming valueless almost to seek good health care. People of all Asian countries are under the impression that nothing is being done for their health care. They have become hopeless. Then this apprehension has eaten up a big part of population health belief. People are bound to live hard life with misery and disease. They keep on complaining in high tone and have no cure of diseases. The common people of Pakistan have health problems. They are surrounded with conflicts and other psychic issues in addition. Citizens spend their life in cells / confined places, it is because of because of low income. They are the domes of disease. Moreover, their income status does not allow them to live in well established, open air and fresh atmospheric homes. Their poverty also displaces them. It is their tragedy that they cannot know about their disease history for a long time. They keep on fighting with their disease. It is also that they do not contact doctors. They want to treat disease by a quack or herbalist. Furthermore, no official health policy is available for communal people. The Sanitary Care Unions and other institutes work for people's health. Medical practitioners are appointed to diagnose issues. They are also provided with complete supplies. It is so that they should put in their best efforts to give the best results. But no good results have been achieved. Health policy meetings are conducted in close rooms and after some weeks no work is put into practice. The commoners cannot take benefit from these policies. They adopt cheap ways of treating themselves. It is often observed that self-medication is the only solution. The disease gets worse with the passage of time. If, for example, patient goes to have doctor’s advice, the doctor on the other hand does not get satisfaction at any rate. The patient is medically examined but not prescribed proper diet menu. Here, I want to ask a question whether doctors are men of science. Do they know how to diagnose the symptoms of malady? It is rather a sad story of recent times. There are many clinics on the road if we begin our search. We will meet many doctors and surgeons but on the contrary no avail. For example, the heart patients find it difficult to have their treatment. The process of treatment is costly. A poor family cannot afford it with a sum of six lakh and plus package. The same situation is with other diseases. Pakistan is a poor country where treatment is at high speed. If someone has private consoling with a practitioner, then, he has to pay a big loaf of money.
